Painted Kitchen Cabinets in North Eugene
Cabinetry is often what stands out most in a kitchen. It is important that kitchen cabinets have a durable, cleanable finish and being the focal point of your kitchen it is also important that they look amazing!
Many kitchens have nice cabinetry with an outdated stained or painted finish. Sometimes all it takes is a new paint job to rejuvenate and modernize your kitchen.
Here we show a recent Cabinet Painting Project completed in North Eugene. We begin by seeing how dated the kitchen looked. We worked with a local cabinet maker to replace the doors and drawers with a modern shaker style.
Then we began priming and filling the wood grain. Oak has a very pronounced grain that cannot be eliminated by simply painting over. Many coats of primer and filler are required to level it out.
We use dustless sanding equipment to control dust.
We use ventilation equipment to extract all of the fumes.
